Interesting to read about Dad's journey as an artist. I always loved his "doodles" on restaurant menus and other assorted pieces of paper. :)

I think it's interesting that he felt guided to make "Cape" watercolors in hopes that they might sell more quickly. Imagine selling a painting for $6. It was also interesting to hear about all the summer visitors to our small house! Thanks for posting.
